Glue drop machine: purpose and use

 

The use of adhesive materials like epoxy resin/glue requires immense care. Because of the material’s adhesive nature, specialized equipment and tools have to be used. The use 

Material preparation

The prepared materials has to be loaded into the glue drop machine's reservoir or cartridge. Some machines may have specific cartridges designed to fit their system.

Parameters 

Operators or technicians can set the parameters for the dispensing process. This includes setting variables such as the amount of adhesive to be dispensed, the speed of dispensing, the pattern of application,and the frequency of dispensing.

Positioning

The machine has a dispensing nozzle, and the substrate onto which epoxy resin has to be appliedshould be placed under this nozzle. 

Dispensing

Activation of the machine leads to dispensing epoxy resin onto the substrate according to the programmed parameters. The machine ensures precise and consistent application of the adhesive to ensure quality. 

Curing 

Curing is the final process which causes hardening of the adhesive to create a strong bond. 

Quality check

Quality checks have to be performed on the bonded components or assemblies to ensure proper bonding and adherence to specifications.
